OurState Arkansas™ is a statewide Leadership Institute with a focus on diversity and inclusion which brings together adult leaders from across Arkansas for a 3-day residential empowerment training designed to build more inclusive leaders, businesses and institutions that can in turn create just communities.  

The upcoming OurState Arkansas™ programs are scheduled for November 16-19, 2008, January 11-14, 2009, April 19-22, 2009, June 14-17, 2009 and August 2-5, 2009, and will be held at Coury House Retreat Center on the campus of Subiaco Academy in Subiaco, Arkansas.  Coury House provides a peaceful, relaxing setting that is ideal to promote reflection, discussion, and planning.

OurState’s program is interactive and experiential, and it is based on a competency model designed to increase participant’s leadership skills in the areas of cultural awareness, cross-cultural communication, diversity, inclusion, and emotional intelligence. 

Class size is limited, and applications are considered on a first come, first served basis while maintaining diversity. The deadline to submit your application is by close of business on the Friday, two weeks prior to each program date.
